| Hi New Yorkers!
I have a one-year Crunch gym membership gift certificate that I'd like to sell. It's for an all-access membership (so you can go to any Crunch gym in the city--or country). It needs to be activated by September 23, 2012.
The price of that membership right now is $249.99 + $29.99 (enrollment and processing fees) plus $99.99/month, which is $1479.84 total. I'm selling it for $1,000.
If you're interested, either leave me your email address or send me a personal message. Thanks! | comments: Leave a comment |

| Hi all, I'm studying abroad in London, England next Fall. I will be going for a full school year and I know that there are SO many things I should see. The only problem is- I don't know what a lot of those things are. I love history and literature so I would like to see things having to do with those subjects (along with other things as well). I definitely will travel around Europe when I can, so sights out of the United Kingdom are good too. Another question I have is-- What should I pack and what should I just buy on arrival? Thanks SO, SO much for all of the impending help that I will be receiving! | comments: 3 comments or Leave a comment |

| (i'm like the one-millionth person to use that joke since friday i bet :| )
so it's the Devils and Kings in the SCF! (i always read that as "sci-fi finals" idk)
Mr. 26 is a Blues fan, but the Devils are his EC girlfriend!team. (in fact i absconded with his jersey that he had when i met him. he reminded me we went to a Devils/Blues game and i cheered for the Devils because i loved Lyle Odelein, seriously you guys, what is wrong with me. okay to be fair this was in like 1997 and i was clueless and just going "is there water under the ice what if they fall in :|" -- true story )
this contrarily makes me want to root for the Kings because apparently i like sports disharmony, who knows. but really i don't have a huge investment since both my teams have been on summer vacay for awhile. (kind of over it, bruins. KIND OF. ) i was definitely cheering for the Devils in the conference finals. i like underdogs, okay :|
also as we all know, 26 is currently obsessed with Martin Brodeur. but i will write about your manpain if you lose, Marty. besides, you already have three Stanley Cups so maybe you should share. and i love the idea of the Kings winning, even if i go like this: O_____________O at the idea of Mike Richards and Jeff Carter having a day with the Stanley Cup. (so many strippers <3)
basically this all become a narrative to me. and so the Kings winning is also great, as summed up here by solidland:
solidland: i'm kinda rooting for the kings just because i think it would be hilarious if after all this drama carter and richards won the cup like IT'S THE PERFECT MOST CLICHED ENDING TO THEIR LOVE STORY
YESSSSS. it totally is, too. And it would have to be a drop pass from Carter to Richards in OT of game 7 or something. CALLING IT NOW.
and they've never won! so pretty much i'll enjoy this series, and i hope it goes to seven games because HOCKEY.
and now actual fans can stop cursing at me. I KNOW, OKAY, I WAS INVESTED LAST YEAR.
if you're invested for whatever reason -- out of sports!hate for one of the teams in the finals or whatever your reason is, skip the rest of my entry :|
( there are pictures from the ECF below! warning for the sports!heartbroken because i'm nice like that. )
(i haven't been able to look at pictures of the handshake line from the Bruins/Caps game yet :| MAYBE IN JULY.) | comments: 15 comments or Leave a comment |
| "True Blood"'s 30 Greatest Moments
Posted by Brian Juergens
In a few short weeks HBO will unleash a new season of its supernatural soap True Blood on an eager audience, and we'll be here to recap it, as ever. Sadly, the amaaahhhhhhhzing Steven Frank, who has been recapping the show brilliantly for several seasons, will not be returning this year. So I will be stepping into his shoes - and having had the pleasure of meeting Steven several times, let me assure you that they are very spiffy shoes, indeed. I hope I can do them justice. Back when True Blood was still a fringey phenomenon and not the massive hit it is now, I was actually AfterElton's resident Truebie: I recapped the show in a weekly vlog called Blood Work!, even luring the charming Nelsan Ellis to appear in one of the early episodes. After leaving AfterElton I continued the series on my own gay horror website, CampBlood.org, and have been chronicling every sticky, sexy. and sick twist the show has thrown at us since. Those readers newer to AE may know me from my recaps of American Horror Story or Game of Thrones - two other fantastically twisted genre shows that I have enjoyed recapping immensely. But if not, please allow me to demonstrate my obsession with the good people of Bon Temps with a hand-picked list of my favorite moments from Seasons 1-4. Enjoy - and if you don't see your own personal fave here, share it in the comments! I can't wait to make some new memories with y'all starting on June 10. | Oh my god do I miss my days way back when in high school when I could pop out like, 15,000 word fics and just not give a fuck about it.
That was a long time ago lol and now writing for me is a pretty labor intensive process because I can't just write and then go back and edit.
I've been working on this AU Loki/Thor fic for months and I just want the damn thing to be finished at this point, but because it's ending on the sex scene, I'm just taking forever because it needs to be good. | comments: 3 comments or Leave a comment |
